The Scattered Calm are a group of young upstarts hailing from
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their first EP is entitled ‘Burn the Forest’. It’s
quite ambitious for a first effort with tracks that cover a lot of ground.
Externality is a case in point. 9 minutes, two crescendos and an awful lot of
shoegazing. But it has won me over.
